Welcome to the website for Wetherby Lions first Beer Festival which took place on June 4th, 2011 at the St James’s Meeting Rooms.

This was where the Lions motto “We Serve” took on a whole new meaning.

The event was supported in numerous ways:-

• Display our poster on your business premises
• Sponsor one of the beers
• Advertise in the festival catalogue
• Talk to us about a concession at the festival
• Add your name to the list of patrons of the event whose name will be displayed at the event and published in the festival catalogue
• Come along, drink some beer and ENJOY YOURSELF! – bring the family too.  There’s face painting and a free bouncy castle for the kids.

What’s more, we are going to do it again next year on 2nd June, 2012 and it will form part of the weekend’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations

If you have come to the Beer Festival website from the Town’s Diamond Jubilee site please note that the Beer Festival does not finish at 4:00pm – unless you regard drinking us dry of 20+ firkins in four hours as a challenge…………..
